Essential OSX Software

I’ve used OSX for close to 10 years now. In that time, I’ve discovered a handful of applications that have improved my OSX experience. I usually prefer to use the applications Apple includes by default in OSX (to maximize integration in the ecosystem), however Apple is not perfect and many of their applications are sub-par and miss some functionality likely because it is ‘too advanced for the average user’.
